surprise at all the popularity of these companion dogs have spread around the whole world.


Cavaliers are active, gracefull and well balanced dogs with a height of 30-33 cm (12 - 13 inches) and weight proportionate to height from 5 - 8 kg (12 - 18 lbs). The coat of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is long, silky and slightly wavy. The so called feathering on ears, legs and tail should be long, and the feathering on the feet is a feature of this breed. Though most Spaniels were originally hunting dogs, the Cavalier has been bred exclusively is a companion. He is equally happy living in the urban lap of luxury, on a hiking trail with its owner or just to be a best friend of "his" children.
